Medications is a calm place for the list your care team or pharmacy gave you, with a simple log of what you have taken and a tracker for orders and refills. Alongside never checks, suggests or changes a dose. It only keeps what you type, so it is for people who want their plan written down in one spot.

How Medications works
- Add each medication with its name, the dose as written, how it is taken and up to six times a day, exactly as you were told.
- Add who prescribed it, the pharmacy and the instructions from your care team, and mark it active while it is on your plan.
- Each day, the Today card lists your doses, and “Mark taken” keeps your own note of what you did, with Undo if you tap it by mistake.
- Track pharmacy orders and refills with a status, dates, quantity note and cost, and press “Need a refill” or “Mark received”.
- Press “Print my list” for a page to bring to a visit, with blank lines for allergies and your care team’s phone number.

Questions about Medications
Does “Mark taken” send reminders?
No. “Mark taken” only keeps your own note of what you did. Alongside does not send reminders, and email and SMS reminders are not turned on yet.
Will Alongside tell me if a dose is right?
No. It does not check or suggest doses. Enter your plan as your care team or pharmacy gave it, and call your clinic’s nurse line if anything is unclear. In an emergency call 911.
Can I track what I paid for a prescription?
Yes. A pharmacy order has a cost field in USD, and your other costs and funding live in My finances.
